Knowledge Base:
9x18mm Makarov (often called 9x18mm PM) is a Soviet pistol and submachine gun cartridge. It was a standard Eastern Bloc alternative to the 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge. This ammunition is still in use by many of these countries today. 9x18mm is ballistically inferior to the 9x19mm Parabellum cartridge. The 9x18mm cartridge is not interchangeable with the more powerful 9 mm Parabellum.

I have always been impressed with Wolf ammo. It's not Swiss or German target ammo, but it will allow high-volume shooters to keep in practice without breaking the bank. The Wolf steel-cased 9x18mm ammunition is pretty hot and when shot out of a small semi-auto like the Polish P64, the shooter will most likely experience stinging recoil. This is most likely a result of the short, stubby grip and not really the ammo. I am planning to buy a CZ82 and I will buy more Wolf 9x18mm ammo to keep it fed.
